No. You have to have graduated Year 12 to register for Summerfest

Our young adults are flying out together on 22/01/20 and returning on 26/01/20. We recommend travelling with this group so you are not travelling alone.

Where is everyone staying?
Darwin Young Adults have chosen to stay at Fairfield by Marriot Legian. We are checking in 23/01/20 and checking out 26/01/20. Accommodation is $117 per person and is inclusive of a buffet breakfast each morning. Please contact to book this accommodation package.

Will I be staying in a room by myself?
The accommodation is for two people per room and you will split the cost of the room with the person you are sharing with. If you need help finding a roommate please speak to your Connect Group Leader or email us at and we can help find you someone to share a room with

Where should I exchange my money?
We recommend withdrawing the money you will be taking with you as cash in Darwin. Exchange a small amount of money at Darwin Airport so that you have money for taxi’s when you land in Bali. Only exchange a small amount of money as the exchange rate at the airport is quite low. Once you arrive in Bali, there will be a trusted money exchange office near your hotel. Please note, do not exchange money at the stalls on the side of the road in Bali.

Will food be provided?
If you purchase the accommodation package, breakfast will be included each morning as part of the package. All other meals will not be provided. Please make sure you bring money to purchase food.

I’ve been told not to drink the water in Bali. Is this true?
We recommend taking the following precautions with water:

  • Only drink bottled water
  • Use bottled water to brush your teeth
  • Don’t ingest any water while you are taking a shower
  • Order drinks without ice if you are unsure whether tap water was used

Do I need a passport to travel to Bali?
Yes. If you do not have one you can apply for a passport at Allow approximately three weeks to receive your new passport. You can also apply for the priority processing service which will send you a new passport in approximately two business days.

Can I use my phone in Bali?
You will need to check with your mobile phone provider about using your phone overseas, however, we do recommend purchasing an Indonesian sim card when you get to Bali.

What is the best way to get around in Bali?

We recommend using Blue Bird Taxi’s. Don't forget to ask your taxi driver to turn on the meter as soon as you get in the Taxi.
